Singer, songwriter and performer Jason Derulo will release his third album Tattoos this fall. The new album arrives over a year after the Miami native suffered a freak accident while preparing for his Future History World Tour.
The album is led by the hit single “The Other Side” which has just entered the Top 5 at mainstream radio, reaching over 76 million people in cumulative audience across all formats. This is the fourth time the Miami native has had a single in the Top 5. Earlier this year, “The Other Side” became the #1 most added in the format this year coming in just behind the all-time record set by former touring mate Lady Gaga.
Jason Derulo signed to Beluga Heights in 2009 after producing and writing songs for the likes of Birdman, Lil Wayne, Diddy, Danity Kane, Sean Kingston and Cassie. Since his self-titled debut that year and touring with Lady Gaga and The Black Eyed Peas, the 2011 pop Songwriter of the Year has become a global force selling over 15 million tracks domestically and 25 million worldwide due to a string of Top 10 singles: “Watcha Say,” “In My Head,” “Ridin’ Solo”, “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” “It Girl,” and the latest, “The Other Side.”
