SUBANG JAYA, 29 MAC 2018 – Program Keusahawanan lbu Nakhoda Hidup usahasa Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad (MYDIN), Procter & Gamble (P&G) Malaysia dan Pertubuhan Pembangunan Kendiri Wanita dan Gadis (WOMEN girls) kembali buat tahun ke-empat bagi memberikan sokongan dan dorongan kepada ibu-ibu usahawan di seluruh Malaysia

Program yang merupakan la njutan daripada Tabung Hulurkan Harapan P&G dan MYDIN sejak 2015 ini bermatlamat untuk mencapai lebih banyak lagi organisasi dan institusi perniagaan serta universiti bagi menyediakan perkhidmatan mentor kepada wanita-wanita di dalam program ini di samping bersama-sama berkongsi ilmu di dalam merangka perkembangan perniagaan mereka melalui aktiviti-aktiviti jangkauan masyarakat ketika program ini menjelajah ke 10 tapak MYDIN di seluruh negara bermula dari 16hb Mac sehingga 20hb Mei 2018.

Majlis pelancaran ini juga mempersembahkan satu pameran perjalanan Ibu Nakhoda Hidup dengan penampilan khas dari kesemua alumni lbu Nakhoda Hidup sepanjang tiga tahun di dataran Mydin USJ, Subang Jaya yang juga ibu pejabat Mydin Mohamed Holdings. Lebih kurang 60 usahawan hadir bagi memeriahkan majlis serta melawat pameran tersebut yang dibawakan khas hanya untuk satu hari sahaja.

Jelajah lbu Nakhoda Hidup juga akan dibuka di Mydin USJ tersebut bermula Jumaat 30hb Mac sehingga Ahad 1hb April 2018 di mana ibu-ibu usahawan daripada Lembah Klang dan Selangor dapat menghantarkan penyertaan mereka bagi tahun ini pula. Antara yang hadir adalah Datuk Yatimah  Sarjiman, Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Pembangunan Wanita dari dan Masyarakat, Datuk Wira (Dr.) Haji Ameer Ali Mydin, Pengarah Urusan Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad; Datin Wira Dr. Hajah Siti Hawa Mohd, Pengarah Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad; Cik Jennis Tan, P&G Malaysia Modern Retail Leader; dan Puan Low Ngai Yue Presiden dan Pengasas Pertubuhan WOMEN:girls.

Di majlis tersebut, Cik Jennis Tan berkata, Tahun lepas, kami menerima 163 penyertaan lbu Nakhoda Hidup dari seluruh negara dan lima pemenang telahpun dipilih oleh pihak MYDIN, P&G dan WOMEN girls. Mereka adalah Nur Syuhada Amran dan Jasmine Aliya Ho; Anita Othman; Azizah Ahmad, Haimisah Mahli dan Saptuyah Abang.

Orang ramai juga dijemput untuk menyertai peraduan gambar mingguan di Instagram dengan mengenalpasti pasukan Ibu Nakhoda Hidup yang berada di MYDIN ketika Jelajah lbu Nakhoda Hidup diadakan dan mengetag tiga usahawan tempatan yang mereka kenal dari Kawasan tersebut. Tiga pemenang bertuah akan pulang dengan Baucar Beli-Belah MYDIN bernilai RM50 dengan hadiah utama Baucar Beli-Belah MYDIN bernilai RM 1,500. Former ONE Strawweight World Champion Yoshitaka “Nobita” Naito of Matsudo, Japan, owns a stellar professional record of 12-1. He owns six victories by submission and one by knockout. Former ONE Middleweight World Champion Vitaly Bigdash of Rostov-on-Don, Russia, has proven to be one of the most talented martial artists in the world. Making his ONE Championship debut in 2015, Bigdash captured the middleweight title with a resounding technical knockout victory over Igor Svirid, in one of the most action-packed contests in ONE Championship history. In his last bout, Bigdash succumbed to Myanmar hero “The Burmese Python” Aung La N Sang, surrendering his middleweight belt in the process. Kotetsu “No Face” Boku, although originally from South Korea, is a Japanese martial arts veteran and the former ONE Lightweight World Champion. With more than 30 professional bouts on his resume, Boku has the experience of a seasoned professional and has seen it all inside the cage. Always a crowd pleaser, Boku utilizes his dynamic boxing background with stunning knockout power to subdue his opponents. In his next bout, Boku aims to put on a show once again opposite Rafael Nunes.

30-year-old Rafael “Indio” Nunes is a martial artist from Sao Paulo, Brazil with a 11-1 professional record. He is the former Premier FC Lightweight Champion and has steamrolled through the competition in his home country with a knack for winning by exciting finish. All but one of Nunes’ 11 wins have ended within the distance. A Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt, Nunes is equally comfortable finishing his opponents by submission or by strikes. Female martial artist Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol of Jakarta, Indonesia, is an Indonesian national wushu champion who has trained in various striking disciplines such as kickboxing and wushu. The 29-year-old made her ONE Championship debut against Singapore’s Tiffany Teo at ONE: THRONE OF TIGERS in February 2017, joining a growing list of elite female martial artists in Asia. Lumban Gaol, a striking specialist with a wushu record of 15-5, will look to extend her two-bout winning streak to three in her next appearance inside the ONE Championship cage, when she takes on Rome Trinidad.

20-year-old Rome “The Rebel” Trinidad of Manila, Philippines is set to return to action in her second appearance inside the ONE Championship cage. The atomweight competitor is a practitioner of Sikaran, an ancient martial arts discipline which originated from Rizal province in the Philippines. With no written history, Sikaran was passed on from generation to generation by succession. A former National Sikaran Champion training out of Elorde Gym, Trinidad is ready to showcase her skills to the world. She takes on rising Indonesian martial arts star Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol.

Victorio “Indra” Senduk of Bandung, Indonesia is an unbeaten featherweight contender and former IBC Featherweight Champion. Sporting an unblemished professional record of 7-0, Senduk is a proven knockout artist with heavy hands. Featuring a background in wushu and kickboxing, Senduk is a striker with an aggressive style. In his most recent bout, Senduk stopped veteran Yohan Mulia Legowo via second-round technical knockout. Representing Gorilla Fight Club, Senduk is set to face Sor Sey.

A prominent member of Cambodian Top Team, Sor Sey of Phnom Penh is one of the most talented Cambodian martial artists to showcase his skills inside the ONE Championship cage. A Kun Khmer practitioner with tremendous striking skills and a Kun Khmer record of 145-47-11, Sor Sey made his promotional debut at ONE: KINGDOM OF KHMER, defeating countryman Chim Chetra by second-round technical knockout. Sor Sey now returns to competition and will face a rising star from Indonesia, Victorio Senduk.

22-year-old Eliyas “Malaku Warrior” Latupeirissa of Jakarta, Indonesia is set to make his ONE Championship debut. The top Indonesian martial arts prospect who represents Tigershark Fighting Academy is known as a boxing stylist and a powerful puncher. He will be facing countryman Dodi Mardian in a flyweight contest in his first appearance inside the ONE Championship cage.

Indonesia’s Dodi “The Maung” Mardian is a silat practitioner and an Indonesian combat sports veteran. Also skilled in the arts of Muay Thai and sanda, Mardian made his cage debut in 2016 after deciding to showcase his talent on the biggest stage of competition. The 33-year-old is looking to make a name for himself in ONE Championship, as he seeks to put his skills to the test in the world’s toughest proving ground for martial arts. In his next contest, Mardian will take on Eliyas Latupeirissa.

30-year-old Radeem Rahman is a former Singapore Muay Thai champion and striking specialist. He made his ONE Championship debut in September of 2011, as part of the historic first-ever ONE Championship event, ONE: CHAMPION VS CHAMPION, defeating Susovan Ghosh by first-round technical knockout. After a long break from competition, Rahman is ready to resume his professional career, and will make his highly-anticipated return to the ONE Championship cage against Tang De Pan.

25-year-old Tang De Pan of Changsha, China, is a sanda practitioner and is currently unbeaten as a professional in martial arts. A former Chinese National Wrestling Champion, Tang is highly-aggressive and relentless, always looking for the quick finish. Making his ONE Championship debut in January of 2016, Tang defeated countryman Zhou Biao with a highlight-reel knockout by slamming his opponent emphatically to the mat. In his most recent contest, Tang defeated Asraful Islam by unanimous decision. His next assignment is against Radeem Rahman.

29-year-old Doan Birawa of Solo, Indonesia is a martial artist competing in ONE Championship’s fast-growing strawweight division. The Han Fight Academy prospect is adept in both boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and features solid striking and grappling skills. Making his professional debut, Birawa is set to step foot inside the ONE Championship cage opposite countryman Riski Umar.

Striking specialist Riski “Kong” Umar is a 25-year-old ONE Championship strawweight contender from Ternate, Indonesia. A Muay Thai and taekwondo practitioner, Umar hones his talent out of Bali MMA alongside other world-class martial arts such as Gianni Subba and Andrew Leone. Known for his toughness and superior striking skill, Umar is set to return in his fourth appearance inside the ONE cage, this time against Doan Birawa.

09 April 2018 – Singapore: The finale of the first season of Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series, which took place Saturday, 31 March in Singapore, was recently concluded. After an exciting evening filled with thrilling bouts showcasing promising young talents, three winners of ONE Championship contracts were announced. Rockie Bactol, Woonkyum Kim, and Daesong Park all received USD $100,000+ ONE Championship contracts as overall winners of the reality documentary series.

At the Season 1 Finale of Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series, Bactol turned in a spectacular performance, defeating opponent Mark Cuizon by first-round americana.

South Korean prospect Woonkyum Kim went through a troubled childhood after his parents got divorced at a young age. After discovering martial arts however, Kim was able to change his circumstances and now leads a life of discipline and honor. In the finale, Kim faced Sanjidul Islam, winning by first-round technical knockout.

Although impressive, South Korean prospect Daesong Park was initially passed on by the ONE Warrior Series judges in the January tryouts. However, he was selected as a late filler to compete against Eto Kimihiro, who was deemed as one of the top contestants. In the bout, Park overcame two illegal blows below the belt and an eyepoke to take victory in the first round by technical knockout.

In addition, athletes Shahid Siddiqui, JD Hardwick, and Faizan Khan each received a Warrior Bonus, a cash award of variable amount, for their incredible performances, displaying unbreakable will and perseverance through adversity.

Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series is a new travel series talent search which runs in 30-minute episodes. The show aims to discover new martial arts talent across Asia, providing promising young athletes with the platform to unleash their martial arts greatness. Franklin, who serves as the show’s host, travels across the Asian continent with co-host Jonathan Fong, searching for talent, experiencing local cultures and testing their boundaries.

She is widely-considered on a global scale to be one of the biggest names actively competing in the sport. She is set to defend her title next against Yamaguchi in a rematch.

35-year-old Japanese martial arts veteran Mei “V.V” Yamaguchi is a female atomweight standout and a former ONE world title challenger from Tokyo. She is the DEEP Jewels Featherweight Champion, and owns seven submissions and two knockouts in her 28-bout professional career. In 2016, Yamaguchi challenged Angela Lee for the inaugural ONE Women’s Atomweight World Championship in an epic showdown that would later win multiple ‘Bout of the Year’ honors from international media publications. In her last outing, Yamaguchi thoroughly defeated Gina Iniong of the Philippines to win impressively by unanimous decision after three rounds. Yamaguchi is now set to take on champion Angela Lee in a highly-anticipated rematch.

34-year-old Sam-A Gaiyanghadao is a Muay Thai legend and multiple-time Lumpinee Stadium world champion who is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world. As a Muay Thai practitioner, Sam-A owns a record of 364-46-9, and was known for his strong defense and counter offense. An instructor at Evolve in Singapore and a member of the prestigious Evolve Fight Team, Sam-A made his first ONE Championship appearance last January against Joseph Lasiri in the first-ever Muay Thai bout inside the ONE Championship cage. Sam-A is set to lock horns with Sergio Wielzen, whom he will compete against for the inaugural ONE Super Series Muay Thai Flyweight World Championship.

Lion Fight Muay Thai World Lightweight Champion, Sergio “Little One” Wielzen of Suriname is a Dutch-based martial artist training out of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. With a professional kickboxing record of 45-18-2, Wielzen has built a reputation as being an explosive striker with stunning knockout power. Despite being physically smaller than most of his opponents, Wielzen has won many of his bouts by knockout. He is also a former It’s Showtime 61MAX world champion. Wielzen is set to make his ONE Super Series debut opposite Muay Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao.

29-year-old Martin “The Situ-Asian” Nguyen is one of the most highly-regarded martial arts champions in the world. With an impressive 10-2 professional record, which includes three submissions and seven knockouts, Nguyen’s all-around skill set allows him to perform at the highest level of competition. All of Nguyen’s wins have come by exciting finish. Last November, Nguyen scored a scintillating knockout victory over the Philippines’ Eduard Folayang to become the first man in the history of ONE Championship to hold two titles simultaneously in different weight divisions, reigning as both ONE Featherweight & Lightweight World Champion. In his last bout, Nguyen figured in a historic showdown with ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes in Bangkok. Nguyen now makes a quick turnaround however, jumping right back into action as he defends his featherweight title against Christian Lee.

19-year-old Christian “The Warrior” Lee, younger brother of reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee, began his professional career on an absolute tear, railing off five straight victories by thrilling finish. He has impressed fans with his ability to seek out stoppage wins over top-caliber opponents featuring an exciting fan-friendly style. A former Pankration World Champion, Lee toppled Japanese veteran Kazunori Yokota in his most recent bout, winning via second-round guillotine choke to improve his record to 9-1. Riding an impressive four-bout winning streak with all four wins coming by finish, Lee is set to showcase his skills once more inside the ONE Championship cage. In his next bout, Lee has the chance to become a world champion when he challenges Martin Nguyen, the only man to ever defeat him, for the ONE Featherweight World Championship.

32-year-old Yodsanklai Fairtex is one of the most recognizable names in the world of Muay Thai. Known by the moniker “The Boxing Computer” as a testament to his impeccable in-ring techniques, he has won numerous championships in his stellar kickboxing career, including the WBC Super Welterweight Muay Thai World Championship and the coveted Lumpinee Stadium World Championship. Yodsanklai will face Chris Ngimbi in his ONE Super Series debut.

Chris “The African Warrior” Ngimbi is a Congolese-Dutch kickboxer who hails from Eindhoven, Netherlands. Having nearly 70 bouts under his belt, Ngimbi has a long list of international accolades as a competitor. He looks to bolster his glowing repertoire as a global kickboxing superstar, as he battles Muay Thai legend Yodsanklai Fairtex in ONE Super Series.

Global martial arts veteran Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki of Shizuoka, Japan, is one of the world’s most decorated athletes. He is a DREAM Lightweight Champion, Shooto Welterweight Champion, and former ONE Lightweight World Champion. The 34-year-old Aoki is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under the famed Yuki Nakai, and has won multiple grappling tournaments all over the world. Aoki also holds a black belt in judo and is widely considered one of the best pure grapplers in professional martial arts competition today. In his next bout, Aoki looks to regain his status among the promotion’s top lightweights as he takes on Rasul Yakhyaev.

26-year-old Rasul Yakhyaev of Grozny, Russia, is a lightweight competitor who has racked up a solid following over his seven-year professional career. A jiu-jitsu and combat sambo practitioner, he is adept in both striking and mat techniques, and is considered a solid contender with tremendous combat skills. A well-rounded warrior, four of Yakhyaev’s victories have come by submission while three have come by knockout. After establishing a name for himself in Eastern Europe, he made his ONE Championship debut in December of 2015. In his most recent contest, Yakhyaev defeated highly-regarded lightweight Shannon Wiratchai by unanimous decision. He now seeks to take his career to the next level against former world champion Shinya Aoki.

Former ONE Lightweight World Champion Eduard “Landslide” Folayang of the legendary Team Lakay in Baguio City is one of the Philippines’ most experienced martial artists. After nearly a decade of competing in various promotions, Folayang has amassed an impressive 18-6 professional record. The 34-year-old veteran has reinvented himself by transitioning from a pure striker to an all-around martial artist, showcasing a highly-improved wrestling and grappling arsenal. Now set to return to the ONE Championship cage in Singapore, Folayang will face Kharun Atlangeriev with the intention of putting himself back in the world title picture.

25-year-old Kharun “Predator” Atlangeriev of Russia is an unbeaten martial artist with a perfect 11-0 record. Atlangeriev has gone the distance just once in his professional stint, as ten of his 11 career wins have come by way of finish. He eyes to make an impact in his ONE Championship debut by defeating a former world titleholder in Eduard Folayang.

23-year-old Singaporean top lightweight contender Amir Khan is a martial artist with a stellar professional record of 9-3. He is considered one of the most promising young talents to represent Singapore on the global stage of martial arts. Khan has won an impressive six of his last seven bouts, and owns eight spectacular finishes on his resume. A certified action star, Khan’s record includes one win by submission and seven devastating knockouts. Next in line for Khan is newcomer Sung Jong Lee.

Sung Jong Lee of Cheonan, South Korea, is a 32-year-old martial artist set to compete in the talented lightweight division of ONE Championship. Lee holds a professional record of four wins and one loss. Always looking to finish on the mat, Lee is a dangerous grappler who is capable of ending matches in a variety of ways. Lee steps inside the ONE Championship cage for the first time at ONE: UNSTOPPABLE DREAMS as he is set to face Singaporean hometown hero Amir Khan.

Singtongnoi Por Telakun is one of the most popular Muay Thai practitioners in Thailand, winning numerous prestigious titles throughout his celebrated career, such as the Lumpinee Muay Thai World Championship and WMC Muay Thai World Championship. Famous for his relentless style in the ring, Singtongnoi has beaten some of Thailand’s biggest Muay Thai superstars. Singtongnoi will make his ONE Super Series debut opposite Joseph Lasiri.

A product of the flourishing Muay Thai scene in Milan, Italy, 26-year-old Joseph Lasiri has become one of Europe’s most well-respected kickboxing competitors. Under the tutelage of Diego Calzolari, the first Italian to ever win at the world-famous Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok, he captured the WBA Super Bantamweight and interim WBC Super Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championships. Lasiri made his first ONE Championship appearance last January against multi-division Lumpinee World Champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao in the first-ever Muay Thai bout inside the ONE Championship cage. In his next outing, Lasiri seeks to redeem himself as he takes on Thailand’s Singtongnoi Por Telakun in ONE Super Series.

Huang Shi Hao of Singapore is a 25-year-old martial artist set to compete in ONE Championship’s stacked bantamweight division. A decorated Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner, Huang hones his skills to be a complete martial artist at the Singapore BJJ gym. After dominating the amateur ranks with his exquisite talent, Shi Hao fully realizes his dream to be a professional athlete, as he is scheduled to make his ONE Championship debut against China’s Xie Bin.

20-year-old Xie Bin of China is one of the most talented young fighters to come out of Tianjin. He started off his martial arts career with a victory over compatriot Ma Shuang at ONE: DYNASTY OF CHAMPIONS and has since put on several thrilling shows as a professional. In his last bout, Xie submitted Cambodia’s Chan Rothana with an impressive second-round Brabo choke. He is currently riding a two-bout winning streak and will look to push it to three when he takes on Huang Shi Hao.

Indonesian martial arts veteran “The Terminator” Sunoto is a ONE Championship bantamweight and a former WKF Indonesia Champion. Representing IndoGym and Team Phantom, Sunoto features a style that combines elements of kickboxing, karate, and jiu-jitsu. With a penchant for scoring spectacular finishes, five of Sunoto’s eight victories have ended before the final bell. The 33-year-old is known as an aggressive warrior who never backs down from a challenge. In his last outing, Sunoto continued to impress on the global stage, defeating Hisyam Samsudin by unanimous decision. His next bout will be against Roel Rosauro of the Philippines.

29-year-old Roel “Akiyama” Rosauro of Cebu City, Philippines, is a Filipino martial arts prospect who trains in the art of Yaw-Yan. A striking specialist, Rosauro is known for his powerful hands and lightning-quick punches. Rosauro made his promotional debut at ONE: QUEST FOR GOLD opposite China’s Li Kai Wen, joining a growing list of promising talents in ONE Championship. He now returns to action as a bantamweight, seeking victory against Indonesian martial arts veteran Sunoto.

17 April 2018 – Manila, Philippines: Asia’s premier martial arts organization, ONE Championship, is back in Manila for its second of four shows in 2018. In a press conference held at the Grand Ballroom of the City of Dreams in Manila, the promotion kicked off its latest event, ONE: HEROES OF HONOR, which is set for Friday, 20 April, at the Mall of Asia Arena. In attendance were Chairman and CEO of ONE Championship, Chatri Sityodtong, main event combatants Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon of Baguio City, Philippines and Andrew Leone of Cortland, New York, USA, global kickboxing superstar Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan and opponent ‘Smokin’ Jo Nattawut of Thailand, among others.

Belingon (17-5), who is currently riding a four-bout winning streak, takes on former bantamweight world title challenger Leone (8-3) in a contest with huge title implications. Both Belingon and Leone are seeking a rematch against reigning ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes, but will have to go through each other to secure it.

“I know Andrew Leone is a tough opponent, and I need to be at my best to win. It’s going to be one of my biggest matches to date,” said Belingon. “I am very thankful to ONE Championship for allowing me to be a part of this historic event. I can’t leave anything to chance. I have to give another great performance. Beating Leone would be the next step to the title.”

Belingon’s opponent Leone also knows what’s at stake in this matchup, and he isn’t taking the Filipino lightly by any means.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for me. I can’t wait to go up there and show what I can do, to perform to the best of my ability,” said Leone. “Kevin Belingon is a tough guy. He’s a hard puncher and he has power. But I’m not worried about his striking. I’ve faced tough guys before. All I can say is that I’ll be ready.”

ONE: HEROES OF HONOR also marks the world premiere of the highly-anticipated ONE Super Series. Announced earlier this year, ONE Super Series aims to provide the world’s best martial artists a prestigious global platform to showcase the beauty of Asia’s striking arts such as Muay Thai, kickboxing, karate, taekwondo, Kung Fu, wushu, sanda, silat, lethwei, and more.

“Niat saya pada mulanya adalah untuk menikmati burger yang enak dengan semua orang dan menjadikannya Halal. Lebih kurang 7 tahun lepas, saya telah bertemu dengan pengusaha dan pencipta FatBoy’s iaitu saudara Kennie dan Bernie Tay lalu menyatakan hasrat saya untuk menjadikannya Halal agar dapat dinikmati oleh penduduk Muslim di Singapura, tetapi mereka belum bersedia dengan idea tersebut. Sehinggalah pada bulan Februari tahun lepas, akhirnya mereka bersetuju dan tertubuhlah cawangan kami yang pertama di 17 Bali Lane. Bercerita mengenai pengalaman pertama Sheikh Haikel merasai Country Fried Steak yang merupakan penyebab bagaimana ini semua terjadi dan mahu semua orang mencubanya, “Bayangkanlah daging stik seberat 180 gm berkualiti tinggi, diketuk sehingga nipis sempurna lalu diselaputi habuk roti yang empuk digoreng serata sehingga keemasan dan dicurahkan pula dengan sos béchamel… sangat menakjubkan!

Sehubungan itu Album Khas Nada Seni Ritma Negara ‘Kawan Setia’ ini berhasrat memperingatkan setiap daripada kita akan peri pentingnya memupuk nilai-nilai kesetiaan dari dalam diri sendiri sebelum memandang ke luar mencari- cari siapakah kawan yang mahu bersetia dengan kita. Pucuk pangkalnya, diri sendirilah terlebih awal perlulah menyemai nilai-nilai kesetiaan itu.

Justeru pada Majlis Pelancaran Album Khas Nada Seni Ritma Negara -Kawan Setia’ ini, pihak penganjur turut memanjangkan undangan kepada sejumlah besar warga Penggiat Seni Tanahair yang memerlukan sumbangan terutamanya golongan veteran. Kita wajar pentafsiran makna frasa Insan-Insan Seni sebagai meliputi segenap Seniman, Budayawan, Karyawan, Sasterawan, sehinggalah kepada para Penggiat Media Seni Tanahair keseluruhannya.

Langkah ini adalah sebagai tanda keprihatinan pihak Kerajaan yang tidak pernah putus terhadap Insan-Insan Seni – khususnya dari lubuk hati terdalam Yang Amat Berhormat Perdana Menteri Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Najib Tun Razak dan Yang Amat Berbahagia Datin Sri Rosmah Mansor. Dari semasa ke semasa, keprihatinan itu diteruskan melalui pelbagai program dan inisiatif.

Pelancaran Album Khas ini sebetulnya adalah rentetan daripada pelbagai program yang telah dilaksanakan bagi mengiktiraf sumbangan Insan-Insan Seni. Antaranya termasuklah Dialog Penggiat Seni TN50 bersama YAB Perdana Menteri pada tahun lalu yang mendapat sambutan di luar jangkaan; dan Majlis Berbuka Puasa Istimewa Ramadhan 2017 di Seri Perdana, Putrajaya. Tidak cukup dengan itu, dua siri program umrah telah dikhaskan kepada Penggiat Seni Tanahair – Program Umrah Penggiat Seni I pada Januari lalu, dan Program Umrah Penggiat  Seni II pada pertengahan April baru-baru ini.

Seandainya kita peka dengan lafaz ucapan YAB Perdana Menteri, hampi setiap ucapan besar beliau tidak lupa untuk menyulamkan bait-bait petikan yang terilham daripada nukilan Para Penggiat Seni. Ini sebenarnya adalah lambing penghargaan yang amat tinggi oleh YAB Perdana Menteri terhadap para Penggiat Seni Negara bagi yang memahami.

Rentetan penghargaan itu, makanya pada Perhimpunan Agung Umno 2017 lalu, YAB Perdana Menteri telah sekali lagi memetik bait-bait yang amat bermakna daripada lagu yang dipopularkan oleh Biduan Tersohor Tanahair, Datuk DJ Dave Kawan Setia

“Sukarnya mencari kawan yang setia, yang sanggup menolong di masa kau susah. Kawan waktu senang, tak payah kau cari-cari- di mana saja mudah kau jumpa. Kawan yang setia ibarat cahaya, menjadi penerang masa kegelapan. Dia tak tergamak membiarkan kau sendiri – Nasibmu pasti akan dibela”

Dalam ucapan YAB Perdana Menteri pada Persidangan itu, Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi telah diperlambangkan sebagai memiliki kesetiaan seorang kawan yang dicari-cari. Sehubungan itu tercetuslah ilham di pihak Pejabat Penasihat Perdana Menteri- bersama Yayasan Perdana Ummah dan Yayasan Mustika Kasih untuk memperkembang lagi hasrat YAB Perdana Menteri melihat nilai-nilai kesetiaan disemai di kalangan masyarakat Negara kita ini. Lalu, seorang Tokoh Muzik Berpengalaman, S. Atan telah dipelawa sebagai composer. Maka terhasillah sebuah Album Khas dengan penuh ketelitian. Dua buah lagu (Kawan Setia dan Negaraku Tercinta, yang keduanya ciptaan S. Atan) telah digubah semula. Susunan muzik yang melengkapkan komposisinya juga terpilih. Setiap satunya diiringi tujuh tambahan instrumen, antaranya ialah piano, akordian, dua gitar lead, satu gitar bass, biola, dan percussion. la bukan sekadar menghimpunkan semula lagu-lagu lama, tetapi telah menampilkan sentuhan baru yang memanfaatkan rakaman muzik secara live.

Selain susunan muziknya digubah kembali, Datuk DJ Dave juga telah merakamkan semula vokal bagi kedua-dua lagu itu. Bahkan lirik bagi lagu Negaraku  Tercinta telah diperkemas secara bersama dengan Penasihat Kepada YAB Perdana Menteri, Yang Berbahagia Datuk Seri Profesor Dr. Khairil Annas Jusoh agar relevan dengan perkembangan masyarakat di Negara tercinta ini.

Ringkasnya, Album Khas Nada Seni Ritma Negara ‘Kawan Setia’ ini menampilkan dua buah lagu: Kawan Setia (Ciptaan: S.Atan/ Lirk: Haron Abdul Majid) dan Negaraku Tercinta (Ciptaan: S.Atan/ Lirik: DJ Dave, Zai, DSKAJ). Album ini turut diiringi penghasilan sebuah Klip Video Khas yang mentafsirkan inti makna Kawan Setia pada lensa tersendiri.

Semoga nawaitu keprihatinan murni YAB Perdana Menteri Malaysia Dato’ S Najib Tun Razak dan YABhg. Datin Sri Rosmah Mansor, melalui usaha-usaha Pejabat Penasihat Perdana Menteri dan Yayasan Perdana Ummah ini akan membawa impak positif kepada Seni Negara. In the co-main event of ONE: HEROES OF HONOR, international kickboxing superstar Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan made a spectacular ONE Championship debut, outworking former Lion Fight World Champion “Smokin’” Jo Nattawut of Thailand. In an offensive clinic against Nattawut, Petrosyan tore apart his opponent with the surgical precision he has become known for, putting together dynamic punch combinations in addition to his pinpoint accurate kicks. Answering every strike that Nattawut unleashed, Petrosyan outworked his opponent to pick up a unanimous decision win in his first bout for ONE Super Series.

The stunning career resurgence of former ONE Featherweight World Champion Honorio “The Rock” Banario as a lightweight division mainstay continued at ONE: HEROES OF HONOR, where he edged out perennial contender Adrian Pang after three rounds. Banario showcased his pinpoint striking early on, peppering Pang with his patented left hook and razor-sharp kicks. Although Pang boldly traded strikes with his Filipino foe and found success in landing hard body shots, Banario showed superiority in ring generalship, creating spaces to clobber his opponent with long jabs and snapping kicks to the body. As Pang stepped on the gas pedal and pressed the action in the third round, Banario’s intelligent movement notched him a split decision.

Making his ONE Super Series debut, legendary Nong-O Gaiyanghadao of Thailand took on former two-time WBC Muay Thai World Champion Fabio Pinca of Lyon, France in a spirited Muay Thai contest featuring plenty of action and excitement. The two traded their best shots in three solid rounds of action, but it was Gaiyanghadao who showcased superior technique, plastering Pinca with thudding left kicks to the midsection and scoring with his patented sweeps. In the end, all three judges ruled the bout in favor of Gaiyanghadao, earning the former four-time Lumpinee Stadium champion a unanimous decision victory.

Former ONE Featherweight World Champion Marat “Cobra” Gafurov made quick work of up-and-coming American featherweight contender Emilio Urrutia, winning by way of first-round submission, placing himself back on the winning track. Returning to his stellar and fearsome form as a highly-touted competitor, Gafurov showcased his world-class grappling once again, effortlessly putting Urrutia to sleep courtesy of a wrenching arm triangle choke.

Rekindling the intense rivalry between South Korea and Japan, former world title challenger Dae Hwan Kim came out on top against Japanese legend Masakazu Imanari, winning by unanimous decision. Driven to victory against a grappling wizard like Imanari, Kim intelligently avoided putting himself at risk in his opponent’s submission wheelhouse and exerted his best effort to dictate the action from the stand-up. Although Imanari found a way to bring matters to the ground, Kim made sure that he had sturdy top control, with the leverage to rain down quick but solid ground-and-pound. After three gruelling rounds, all judges at ringside saw the bout in favor of Kim.

Cosmo Alexandre left a lasting impression in his ONE Super Series debut, defeating Elliot Compton in their Muay Thai clash by way of second round knockout. The long-limbed Brazilian dynamo aced his maiden ONE Super Series assignment with flying colors, bringing down Compton with a shattering uppercut and a follow-up knee strike to the body. Reeling in excruciating pain, Compton failed to answer the count of ten, compelling the referee to wave off the bout, declaring Alexandre the victor via knockout in the second round.

In a bout that lasted just under two minutes, ONE Championship debutants Akihiro “Superjap” Fujisawa and Kaji “Alpha” Ebin walked out to the ring looking to engage. At the opening bell, Ebin marched forward wanting to trade strikes, but it was Fujisawa who would score on a single-leg takedown. Not long after, Ebin began complaining about a dislocated shoulder. At that point, referee Yuji Shimada called a halt to the contest after Ebin could no longer continue due to injury, which awarded Fujisawa with the submission victory.

In the first ONE Super Series bout of the evening, Regian Eersel impressively marched to a unanimous decision victory over Brad Riddell in a three-round kickboxing contest. Banking on his height and length, Eersel effortlessly pummeled Riddell with lashing strikes, including a solid knee to the midsection that dropped the Auckland, New Zealand native to the mat in the second round. Eersel closed out the final round of the match on a strong note, limiting Riddell’s offense with his counter strikes. In the end, Eersel was awarded a unanimous decision victory.

After falling short in her last outing, Gina Iniong of Team Lakay redeemed herself in front of a passionate hometown crowd, claiming a unanimous decision victory over former world title contender Jenny Huang. Iniong savored every strike that she threw at Huang as the latter gallantly traded shots with the highly-decorated Filipina wushu practitioner. Huang tried to change the complexion of the contest in the second round as she resorted to her grappling expertise, but Iniong surprisingly overpowered the submission specialist on the mat. In the final round, Iniong continued to wear out Huang on the ground, working her way towards a hard-earned decision victory.

Kicking off ONE: HEROES OF HONOR was a riveting three-round strawweight showdown between Indonesian standout Adrian Mattheis and China’s Lan Ming Qiang. Setting up a promising tone for the evening, both men went back-and-forth from bell to bell, exchanging thunderous strikes in the stand-up department while shooting for powerful takedowns. In the end, Mattheis dominated his opponent, emerging triumphant via unanimous decision.

Penyanyi muda wanita berbakat besar yang bermula hanya dengan menyanyikan lagu-lagu cover di laman sesawang YouTube dan kini merupakan salah seorang puteri pop di rantau Asia Tenggara yang sedang meningkat naik, Chaleeda Gilbert baru sahaja mengeluarkan single Inggeris keduanya ‘Pretty Boy’ yang dicipta serta diterbitakan oleh penyanyi serta penulis lirik Kuizz Shah dan Bil Musa.

Kini, di usia 17 tahun, Chaleeda bukan lagi baharu di dalam industri hiburan dan pernah menganggotai kumpulan remaja perempuan yang dipanggil Tweenie 90’s di Thailand dan kumpulan tersebut kemudiannya berpecah pada tahun 2015. Ahli-ahli kumpulan tersebut kemudiannya mengambil haluan masing-masing dan bermula dari situlah Chaleeda mula menyanyikan lagu Justin Bieber dan mendapat jutaan penonton di laman YouTubenya.

Setelah kejayaan yang luar biasa dengan single Inggerisnya yang pertama ‘Mind Over Matter’ dengan tontonan melebihi 3.5 juta sejak dilancarkan pada bulan Oktober tahun lalu, Chaleeda kembali dengan buah tangan terbaharu yang diramal bakal menjadi hit.

“Saya sangat gembira dan sangat berterima kasih dengan kejayaan single ‘Mind Over Matter’ kerana penerimaan yang sangat positif dan tidak menjangkakan ia mampu pergi jauh! ‘Pretty Boy’ mengisahkan tentang cinta sejati yang bukan hanya bersandarkan rupa paras yang kacak bahkan mempunyai maksud yang lebih mendalam,

“Pada zaman sekarang, kita sering dikaburi dengan kecantikan luaran serta stail yang menarik dan sering lupa apa yang lebih penting – iaitu hati seseorang. Jika kita mempunyai hati yang ‘cantik’ ia akan terpancar dengan sendirinya dan bagi saya itu lebih berharga dan lebih berkekalan.”

Chaleeda yang meminati artis antarabangsa seperti Drake, Rihanna, August Alsina dan Melanie Martinez mempunyai pandangan tersendiri mengenai karier nyanyian beliau,

“Membuat persembahan solo di atas pentas membuatkan saya berasa lebih dekat dengan cita-cita saya iaitu mengadakan jelajah dunia pada satu hari nanti, walaupun begitu, saya tetap berasa gementar setiap berada di pentas, tetapi saya sukakannya. Saya beritahu diri sendiri semuanya pasti ok dan apabila berada di depan peminat, saya tahu tempatnya di sini dan mempunyai tanggungjawab sebagai seorang penyanyi dan pemghibur.”
